(26) "And God (~yhla) said (the verb is SINGULAR): Let us make man in our image, after our likeness (these are references to God's divine council - composed of other elohim and angels - if you read The Facade, you'll learn about the divine council). At this point, the issue of whether humankind was created by ONE deity or many gods is still up in the air – but will be clarified by the text . . . and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. (27) So God (~yhla) created (the verb is SINGULAR) man in his own (a third masculine SINGULAR suffix in Hebrew) image, in the image of God (~yhla - we know this is singular as well from context - the preceding suffix tells us) he created (the verb is SINGULAR)
Isa.40:13 Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counselor has taught him?
14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and showed to him the way of understanding
There is a plural pronoun ("our") with a singular ("likeness....image"). Man was made in the "image" of God not in the image of any "council" consisting of angels or other created beings. If this refers to any "council" it consists of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
John Gill, said the plural of majesties was not introduced until after the Babylonian captivity.
It's within the realm of possibility.

Actually EWT it's Three in One.Indeed I do believe that Genesis does have a connection to the Trinity. Now any self respecting Jew will try to dispell it (I can just hear them, "Hear oh Israel, The Lord our God, The Lord is one" ...... Yes oh venerable Refusers of Christ, yes---One in Three.
Oh you mean the Fake Investigation!Id try to catch up with him prior to Robert Mohler's investigation.
Fake.....perfect! Everything having to do with the Trump Family is in fact fake.....so why not this?Oh you mean the Fake Investigation!

The Shema:
Sh'ma Yisra'eil Adonai Eloheinu Adonai echad.
Hear, Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One.
Both the root and the suffix of Eloheinu are plural.
Strong's H430 Eloheinu noun common masculine plural construct , suffix 1st person common plural
Meaning: 1) (plural) 1a) rulers, judges 1b) divine ones 1c) angels 1d) gods 2) (plural intensive - singular meaning) 2a) god, goddess 2b) godlike one 2c) works or special possessions of God 2d) the (true) God
