Genesis 10:25 "in his days was the earth divided"

Scripture doesn't say about time but there is a sequence or order of events. The devil had nothing to do with the nature of the universe. Adam's fall caused the entire universe to be cursed and eventually it will be burnt up, right?

If the earth was without form etc., it is because it was a construction project so to speak. It is the way God did it.

Seeing, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, he himself also in like manner did take part of the same, that through death he might destroy him having the power of death -- that is, the devil -- Heb 2:14

Relative to that verse, let me ask. Was, death, necessary for the destruction of the devil?

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Gen 1:31

Let me again ask. At the end of the sixth day,where was the devil? Did the devil at the end of the sixth day need to be destroyed? Did God, at the end of the sixth day, already have a plan of how he was going to destroy the devil. At the end of the sixth day,did that plan include death? At the end of the sixth day, where was death going to come from? What was going to bring about death. At the end of the sixth day, did the plan include the Son of God being born of a virgin, woman?

for to vanity was the creation made subject -- not of its will, but because of Him who did subject it -- in hope, Rom 8:20

In your opinion, was the creation made subject to vanity before of after the sin of Adam? I believe before.

Creation as told in Genesis is a step by step process. The first step seems to be a globe in the dark covered with water. There are no millions and millions of years anywhere but 7 24-hour days. God could have done everything in a tiny fraction of a second but He told Adam that he did it the way Adam wrote it in Genesis. God spread it out and told Adam (and Eve) the exact order of creation on a day-to-day basis.

That is my whole point, even before Adam was created, let alone sinned, Jesus was going to be made incarnate, to redeem with his precious blood, to buy back. Not if Adam sinned of even if someone after Adam sinned.

For we know that the law is spiritual: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. but I am of the flesh, And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. sold under sin.

The redeemer had already been foreordained. The battle wasn't with the man to be created but with one who had already been created, and sinned.

Adam was going to sin and we all followed suit. IMHO Adam was created in the image of God for the very purpose of, the incarnation of the Son of God, in the likeness of sinful flesh, to condemn sin, in the flesh.

Adam had free will.

And the heavens and the earth are completed, and all their host; and God completeth by the seventh day His work which He hath made, and ceaseth by the seventh day from all His work which He hath made. And God blesseth the seventh day, and sanctifieth it, for in it He hath ceased from all His work which God had prepared for making.

Exactly when would one think God subjected his creation to, vanity? Why did God make man, Adam, a little lower than the angels? Why?
