George Floyd Not a Christian?

Ask him why he knew Tawanna Brawley was making up the whole story about the cops in Newburgh, NY and insisted (caught on tape) that she stick to her lie. he has never apologized or showed any sort of remorse. one of the officers he accused committed suicide after his wife left him over the accusations. okay with you?
Al Sharpton will answer to God, just like you and me. I can only say that the eulogy he gave in Minneapolis was not wrong.

Which hood? Because I spent time in south central la and there are horrible blacks committing evil deeds. If white were doing it I’d be on your cases as well.

By the way, why aren’t any blacks in that Seattle free zone anymore? Where did they go?
Sai, humans are horrible wretches, regardless of skin color. The fact that you call out skin color and separate people by color shows that you are exhibiting racist views.

I hear all this commotion about how evil us whiteys are because of the slavery our ancestors used. Yet no one pays any attention to the slavery that is on going throughout African & Asian nations. Nah, only us whiteys are the evil ones. (insert rolling eyes icon)

Of course they have to steal. They don't have the money to buy the things they take. They have to spend that money on smokes, booze, drugs, bling-bling for their wheels, etc.

I lived for a short bit in the ghettos of Denver, Salt Lake City and Dallas when I was a little kid. I remember an awful lot of bad stuff. And I also remember a black woman that took me & my sister into her home when our mom was being raped by WHITE druggie in the motel parking lot (Dallas). I remember when he busted her door down looking for us. And I remember how that black woman put her life on the line to keep two white kids from Lord knows what would happen. I remember so well how she screamed every swear word known to mankind as the man put his gun to her head. THEN the cops showed up. And....oh yeah! Those coppers went total Rodney King on the druggie. Now THAT, my friend, has got to be the sweetest time I had with a cop when I was a kid. Man! I forget how many cops there were there, but the beat him, kicked him, they didn't have rubber batons like now, they had wooden billy clubs. And they used them, too! And I still have no idea IF he survived. As if I care.

Sorry, just remembering my youth....

I’ve had similar experiences. And also saved by black men. The point is for the whiteys to understand how bad the black ghetto problem has become before kneeling down to the first group of blacks that comes down the road. Thanks for sharing your story, I hope your mom got saved

Honestly, I have no idea. She survived the rape, he survived a brain tumor, she lived a life of hell, that I know. But has she ever been saved, like in 1 Cor. 15? No idea.

Again, the racism in this thread is appalling and it would be greatly appreciated if the owners of the Baptist Board would condemn racism and every Christian who judges based on skin color, such as the two persons who have posted above this comment.

Again, you refuse to accept the fact that it’s not Mexicans, American Indians, Polynesians, Asians, and especially not whites that are causing harm to society. If they were I’d be first to start a thread.

I've reported this post. If this was just a stand-alone post and your first time to slander black people and put the entire burden of society's failures on them - I would have just ignored it

The Bible says "ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

The Bible says "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked - who can know it" [That's ALL hearts]

I'm telling you that the heart of the problem in our nation is the sinful condition of the heart of ALL people as the Bible teaches.

Well, of course we are all sinners.
I don’t think that Hawaiians losing their land was wrong because they were idolatrous same for what happened to African slaves. They suffered because of their history of idolatry. We as people of color should be very glad to have been somehow born into this great country.

And the hostility towards white people is only justified when the black or brown or whomever refuses to acknowledge their ancestral devil worship.

God does use more vile people to punish nations. It happened to Israel who were guilty of idolatry and spiritual fornication. The Babylonians were by far a more wicked nation yet God allowed them to be his enforcing power.

Perhaps Europeans were more wicked than the naked natives. Looking at Torquemada.. yet history shows that Africans were enslaved, American Indians were usurped, Aztecs destroyed, Hawaiians lost their land.

I disagree a little.

The eulogy began strictly political (telling President Trump, although not using his name, that he could not use George Floyd as a prop while the DNC and BLM is using Mr. Floyd as a prop. That was wrong of Mr. Sharpton.

He was right, however, that we cannot (or should not) use Bibles as a prop and for pandering (this has been done, I believe, with both political parties). Up to this point, four minutes into the speech Mr. Sharpton has been directly political. And Mr. Sharpton keeps a political theme against President Trump even to the 17:12 marker - nothing to do with Mr. Floyd, just a political speech advocating much needed change. Even almost 20 minutes into the speech Mr. Sharpton is still talking politics (praising President Obama and condemning changes made by the Trump administration).

And twenty minutes in he shifts stronger to race. Mr. Floyd's death was not, as we can tell by the facts, related to his race. It was murder and police brutality.

In fact, the entire eulogy is unrelated to Mr. Floyd himself. It is related to using Mr. Floyd as a prop for reform. I am not saying this reform is not needed, but Mr. Floyd is probably not the best mascot for the cause.

That is why I disagree. A man was murdered. Both sides are using that man as a tool for their agenda rather than looking honestly at the situation and fighting for legitimate and sustainable change.

Sai, your blatant racism should get you banned from this site and certainly you will answer to God for your sinful speech.

Jon, I only edited your post for the sake of shortness.
For the most part I do agree with you.
However, we should consider two things.
1) until - a conviction is decided by a jury - it is only an alleged murder.
2) and an important fact has been forgotten - Mr. Floyd could have avoided the situation by not allegedly passing that fake $20 bill.
But since he as now passed - he can never be convicted of that allege crime. Is it possible that he did not know it was fake - of course.
Is it possible -he knew it was fake? - YES. Now with his rap sheets of at least two States - and his physical size, and his resisting arrest,
does not give Mr. Floyd much credibility. Is the Police officer guilty of murder - YES, he could be - but at what point - Everyone talks about
the 8 minutes and some seconds - but at what point did it become excessive.?
Is it too much to wait on the trial - and accept the facts.
IF the officer is found guilty of murder or manslaughter - then yes he should serve time.

Just because a person mentions race - DOES NOT mean he is racist.

Suppose a person robs me of my wallet. When I talk to the police and they ask me to ID the individual.
So I say - Well, HE was about 5'6", was BALD, walked with a LIMP, wearing OLD and SMELLY CLOTHES,
and he carried a bag that said US ARMY. And he was BLACK.

Does this mean I hate males, short people, those who are bald, and handicap as well as Veterans and poor people.
NO - those things I mentioned are simply for identification. But when it comes to race - many want to assume racism.

God's color is "Light".

Also see:

I also like Ken Ham's take on Jesus loves the little children song, whereas it normally says, "Red, Yellow, Black and White ...", Ken Ham sings, "Brown and Brown and Brown and Brown", knowing that shades of the pigment melanin are more or less in differing persons of the race (singular) of mankind. Creation is the opposing element to evolutionary thinking, in which Darwin, among others spoke of "favoured races" (plural).

I sure hope no Christian who God gave darker skin comes to this site. In fact I hope no person of color, regardless of faith comes to this site. This is just embarrassing.
