Gilligans Isle (keep on OP)

I started this thread once before, but it got off OP as folks were talking morality. This thread is just for fun. If you want to consider the morality issue, do so on the orginial thread.

I would like to see a motion picture made of an updated "Gilligan's Isle"

Here is the plot:

Gilligan has a monopoly game and keeps beating Mr. Howell. MaryAnn has lots of sciene questions that the Professor is unable to answer. Ginger asks the Skipper to help here become a sailor. Mrs Howell trys to be a homemaker.

I know Mark Lowery and Bill Gaither really aren't actors, but I think they would make great characters for the story.

Just remember that if you are going to make this in the post-modern era you must include a lesbian/gay/cross gender character, include people from at least 14 nationalities in the seven characters, make the woman the hero, and make all of the white males bumbling idiots (much like Gilligan was).

I used to watch this program. I did not know Gilligan played on this old show Dobie Gillis. I found out that Gilligan was chosen the name randomly out of a phone Book in Los Angeles. I’m sorry to say but I think Bob Denver and Alan Hale are the best team still. I would say honestly it would be hard for me to imagine other people playing these roles. Everyone has their opinion. I like the original cast. But as you know Bob Denver passed away. So did Alan Hale Jr. Sherwood Schwartz also did the Brady Bunch among with Gilligan’s Island. It is in fact Mr. Howl is a guest on the Brady Bunch when Bobby was a pool shark and Mrs. Howl was on there when Cindy was peeking in Marcia’s diary. And Marcia wrote Cindy was going to become the next Shirley Temple. Although this was to be a client for her Dad Cindy thought this was a talent scout. She fixed herself up as Shirley Temple. Natalie Schaefer Mrs. howl comes in and Cindy does her on the good ship lollipop song. Mrs. Howl on that show was doing it with Cindy. Then of course Cindy got busted about the peeking in the diary.

I'm not any good at casting, but here is the plot:


Gilligan has secretly been reading the professors books and is getting very smart. Mary Ann starts falling for Gilligan - get married (by the professor - who had received a mail order ordination) and the couple have 4 children, including a set of twins.
The professor starts religious services since it came out that he has been ordained.

Now for some help
The Skipper was searching the Minnow - in the bottom of the boat, he came upon a secret compartment and he found ........

Ginger figured out a way to motivate Mr. Howell to become a cook by.........

Mrs Howell decided she was going to open a store. Her decision on the product/service was......
