Just trying to follow Christ’s example. A Christian should have no fear of facing a prosecutor, just as our Lord had no fear of Pilate.
False piety gets you no points in a Christian forum.
We know it when we see it.

Orwell:“President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani on Sunday claimed "truth isn't truth" when trying to explain why the president should not testify for special counsel Robert Mueller for fear of being trapped into a lie that could lead to a perjury charge.”
Giuliani: ‘Truth isn’t truth’
Rudy Giuliani: “Truth isn’t truth.”
Pontius Pilate: “What is truth?”
Re the OP:
“You are a slow learner, Winston."
"How can I help it? How can I help but see what is in front of my eyes? Two and two are four."
"Sometimes, Winston. Sometimes they are five. Sometimes they are three. Sometimes they are all of them at once. You must try harder. It is not easy to become sane.”
If that was the case, then everyone a prosecutor interviews would be charged and found guilty. The fact that is not the case disproves your premise.
Again, you are naive and ignorant.Again. It’s simple. Tell the truth. It is one of the basics of the Christian’s walk.
They have proven they want desperately railroad Trump. If that was the case, then everyone a prosecutor interviews would be charged and found guilty. The fact that is not the case disproves your premise.

Perjury happens all the time, and the courts don't care. I've been involved in criminal trials. Have you?If that was the case, then everyone a prosecutor interviews would be charged and found guilty. The fact that is not the case disproves your premise.

You can be tricked into 'misspeaking.' Not only that, the laws are written so that you are a defacto criminal. And I'll bet if I put your life under a microscope, I won't find a moral bastion at the heart of the indignation you're spouting.Truth is truth. That some people who are Christians are willing to throw basic Christian teachings overboard to support Trump flabbergasts and greatly saddens me. No wonder the public perception of evangelicals is in tatters, as well as the Catholic Church after last week’s revelations.
Lots of lying in non jury proceedings. As a juror? Yes.
I won't find a moral bastion at the heart of the indignation you're spouting.
Hannity on his radio show said a FBI agent In confidence told him to "never, under any circumstances talk to the FBI." Hannity said the agent gave him an example of where an FBI agent who was being investigated by FBI for misconduct was caught in a perjury trap. He said in the investigation, the agent was asked under oath if on such and such a day he was driving a "red" rental car. The aagent answered "yes, I was driving a red rental car." Several weeks after the investigation he was told he could resign or face indictment for lying under oath to the FBI. He was told that according to the VIN number of the car, it "was scarlet, not red."Are your saying that truthfulness is not a Christian virtue?
They care. People are prosecuted for it all the time.Perjury happens all the time, and the courts don't care. I've been involved in criminal trials. Have you?
I find that unbelievable, especially since the definition of scarlet is "a brilliant red color." I don't suppose Hannity (who can't decide if he was a client of Cohen) gave evidence that such a thing occurred. If he can't demonstrate that anecdote, there's no reason to believe it.Hannity on his radio show said a FBI agent In confidence told him to "never, under any circumstances talk to the FBI."
