what views?

I don't hold to PSA. I don't believe in the "once-saved-always-saved" doctrine. I support women clergy. Maybe some of my other views would be problematic, I'm not sure.

But I do hold to what I understand are the "Baptist distinctives".

About the only Baptist group that does not accept OSAS- is the Free will Baptists -
There are several Baptist groups who do accept females pastors* - ie Cooperative Baptist Fellowship – Forming Together and https://allianceofbaptists.org/

The Baptist distinctive is just simply an acrostic - of a few Baptist beliefs - there are many more - and varies greatly among Baptist - thus the reason we jokingly say "Heinz 57 variety of Baptist"; as one of our beliefs is Baptist soul liberty.

* I will say this about female pastors - if ( according to 1 Timothy 5:9) a female has a wife - then she has another scriptural situation!

PS - can we ask what State/commonwealth you reside (as many baptist groups tend to be more regional)

I don't feel comfortable saying where I live. But there are no CBF churches near me, nor American Baptist churches, nor Alliance of Baptists. That last one would be way too liberal for me anyhow.

Anyone know if there are any Methodists or other Wesleyans on here? And while I'm thinking about it, what about Anglicans? Pentecostals? I know we have a few Catholics here.
