    Wouldn't Thine will be done be a more Biblical prayer? What if God doesn't want to bless (whatever that might mean to you) the world, let alone America?

    To those who say "God Bless America", do you equally say God Bless Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, and North Korea? Or should he only bless us because we are the "Christian" nation who murders millions of unborn babies a year and recently starved a woman to death about a year or so ago? Perhaps, our prayer ought be God, show mercy and grace to America, and the whole world, and let America bless God for his incredible Amazing grace.

    It is hard to ask God to bless a nation when it has so many moral problems. I guesss when I think about the song "God Bless America" I see it as as an expression of gratitude to God for his provisions to all of us who love this great land. Others may see it differently and sometimes we get hung up on nit-picky things that aren't important in the way we express our gratitude. So when I say God bless America, what I really mean is Thanks God for being so kind and merciful by allowing us to partake in the rich bounty of this great land that we call America.
