"God Glorified in His Church"

1 When Jesus' mighty sov'reign grace,
Transforms and saves the chosen race;
The glories of the Godhead shine,
Through all the scheme of love divine.

2. The Father's choice is thus reveal'd -
With Jesus' blood the man is seal'd -
The Spirit's pow'r is felt and known -
And God is glorified alone.

3. Proud rebels tremble at His voice,
Believers wonder and rejoice,
The church extends on ev'ry side,
And Israel's God is glorified.

4. Lord, let Thy triumphs still go on;
Arrest - renew - bring in Thine own;
Complete Thy church as Jesus' bride,
And be for ever glorified.
