Never were saved and justified until receiving Jesus as my Lord and Savior though!

Of course not, neither were you, as we were not in him until the day we believed in him.
You were not in Christ in eternity past. You were nowhere. Then when you were born you were in Adam not in Christ.
Unless you fell out of Christ, got into Adam, and then back into Christ.
Paul says were chosen IN HIM before the foundation of the world. We were not in him before the foundation of the world.
I got in him in 1990. The before the foundation of the world part comes in, according to Peter and Paul, because of the foreknowledge (which is not predestination) of God concerning the body of Christ and who would believe and his plan that was drawn up before the foundation of the world.
There was a day when you probably believed that simple truth also but then got a "deeper" understanding.
Chosen in him before the foundation of the world, eh?
