God's Preserved Word

With the current topics and newer members, I thought I would ask a question that has been asked many times before.

God has preserved His Word. I think we all know this.

What is your favorite (or go to...the one you pick up without thinking about it) translation of God's Word?

I typically go to the NASB. The reason is partially familiarity. But I also have several tools linked to the NASB on study software.

For extensive reading I usually go to the NIV. When I preached I would study the NASB but preach using the NIV (I get tongue tied reading the NASB aloud).

I suppose my favorite, although I rarely use it for reading or study anymore, is the KJV (especially the Psalms). But this is more for literary style. It balances word for word with style perfectly.

For witnessing I prefer the NIV.

I normally preach out my NKJV
But I used multiple translations when I do my study.
But one of my favorites is my HSCB study Bible.
and of course, I utilize Blue Bible

I joined a new church after moving 2 years ago.
They teach from the ESV so I've adjusted my study to use it.
