Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX) warned Democrats on Thursday that their continued push for impeachment and actions over the last three years were putting the country on the brink of a “civil war.”
A new Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service poll released this month found that the average American believed that the U.S. is two-thirds of the way to the “edge of a civil war.”

He calls it a star chamber. The Democrats think that they can illegally grab power whenever the lose an election so that it is clear that we are at least 2/3rds of the way to a civil war.

The only way Trump can be removed from
office through an impeachment and trial is with the cooperation of at least 20 Republicans in the U.S. Senate. I seriously doubt there are 20
such Republican senators; thus, all this handwringing about a civil war over the impeachment process is WAY over the top.
