Not taking my salvation into question would be a good start. And if you think being saved just takes away same sex attraction, you haven't heard from many actual people who experience SSA--including those who peddle orientation change.
Besides which. What exactly do you have a problem with? Me believing same sex sex is a sin? Me choosing not to act on my romantic attractions?

Plus. "Not being straight" can also mean aroace....or someone who experiences neither romantic or sexual attraction to anybody regardless of gender. Basically someone who has no desire for marriage and doesn't lust after others because they don't get attracted to others. Which, I would hardly think anyone thinks is "wrong".
we all have sinful areas that still must deal with between us and God, aslast time I checked, the bible doe snot promote "sinless' perfection", despite what John Wesley supported!
Having gay/lesbian "attractions" is not the real issue, as its the follow though and actually engaging in those sinful sexual behaviors, as I would see those in that area would need to practice being celibate, same way we "straights" would until marriage...
And last I checked, paul id hold to the blood of Jesus able to cleanse rom all sin, as long as the person desires to walk in the way God intended!
Just realize that many of us have to deal with in media and in personal lives those who are into flaunting their sexual gayness, and mocking God and His ways, so we tend to at times forget that not all are in that same lifestyle boat!

To God Hmself too!
Oh, really?

For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others--and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.

I did not think about that, good point!

Okay, honest question. If it's not anything I already mentioned, WHAT do you people react to so strongly about me. I'm already abstaining from relationships, I don't struggle with lust, and I try not to entertain romantic thoughts and feelings I might have toward other women.
What MORE do you want from me?? What is it about me that upsets you so severely?

Who are you talking to? You don't upset me at all.
The only thing that I would say is that sexual attraction or asexual attraction does not define anyone. We are defined by our position in Christ. Has God made us alive with Christ. Are we adopted children of the King? Are you my sister in Christ? That's what matters.

I am not upset with you, as am glad that it seems that you are entrusting Jesus Christ to be Lord over your life!

You're fine. Just. Ugh. I guarantee that if I confessed to struggling with straight lust or with porn, instead of SSA, people wouldn't react nearly the same. They would be far more gentle and understanding, sympathetic even, and suggest support groups for me to join. The stigma and bias here is real

Does it matter how people react? Isn't the real issue how you respond to the Spirit's conviction and sanctification in your life?
Humans are gonna be human and react according to the culture that trained them. Sometimes it's a bad reaction. Sometimes it's good. But, if we keep looking at humans to find contentment, we are going to be terribly disappointed.
