I recall R C Sproul blasting the ECT document (Evangelicals and Catholics Together) which made lame attempt to bring both together and for Evangelicals to name Catholics as brothers.

This document attempted to make a co-belligerency against the alternative lifestyle, abortion, other issues. Sproul said something like we are already standing against this, on both sides, but that does not make us brothers. It was something along those lines.

D James Kennedy also spoke up against it because it lamented attempts to evangelize Catholics, and Kennedy said something about him still evangelizing his own members in his own church, showing how absurd it is for them to worry about Catholics being evangelized.

Standing against abortion, that lifestyle, giving to charities doesn't a saved person make, nor does it mystically reveal they must be born again, looky at what they are doing. :)
Jerry Falwell dropped the ball when he succumbed to the social pressure and called g@y christians...well, christians. I saw a commercial about it. Sad.

But the Bible says,

Gen. 6:9. These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God.

Gen. 7:1. Then the LORD said to Noah, “Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this time.”
Noah was justified by faith, not by any works or righteousness of his own. 'By faith Noah......prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith' (Hebrews 11:7).

'I don't need theology, just Jesus'?

I hear that too often. Which Jesus? Describe Him please.
Why you don't know what He looks like? o_O

He has long hair, beard, smooth hands and feet. He's a european hair model who looked like He never worked a day in His life. We have His picture up at church. He is also very fond of lambs for some reason.

I'm shocked you didn't know this!!!

Lot's of Scriptures, thanks! Now what is your point from these Scriptures?
My point is that the Bible describes some men and women who had not heard the gospel nor believed it, men and women who had not been baptized into Christ, as “righteous;” “blameless;” “upright;” “fearing God and turning away from evil;” having a heart that “was wholly devoted to the LORD” all their days; “did right in the sight of the LORD;” “trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel;” “clung to the LORD;” “did not depart from following Him;” “kept His commandments, which the LORD had commanded Moses;” “turned to the LORD with all [their] heart and with all [their] soul and with all [their] might;” “did not turn aside to the right or to the left;” and a being “pleasing to God.”

Some people may imaginatively argue that these men and women had heard the gospel and believed it, and that they had been baptized into Christ, but such an argument is based upon a newly invented theology that began creeping into some of our churches beginning in the 16th century.

I'm shocked. Do you have a link of him saying this? Troll him for me and get me some quotes! :p
I'm coming up 'snake eyes'. I can remember a commercial where a fellow was setting next to Jerry and he said "I'm Brother So-n-so(can't remember his name), Brother Jerry Falwell's g@y brother in Christ. He said something like he didn't entirely agree with it, and some blubber. He succumbed to social pressure.

And yet there's none righteous, no not one.

Anyone who truly followed the Lord had a birth from above...born again. No one outside Christ is good.

Oh great!! CBTS has picked up Bob Hope's baton of putting 'dumbs' after my posts. At least I feel better when he disagrees with me. Further cements my being right. :) :D

Bad spelling? Srsly? I purposely put an '@' in place of the 'a'. You really need a hobby, dude.

You're usurping Brother Rippon's job on here as grammer police.
