GOP Intel chairman: Trump should recognize Putin lies

"Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said on Monday that President Trump must recognize that Russian President Vladimir Putin's denial of Russian meddling in the 2016 election is a lie.

"President Putin ordered an influence campaign aimed at the 2016 U.S. elections with the goal of undermining faith in our democratic process. Russia has conducted a coordinated cyberattack on state election systems, and hacked critical infrastructure. They have used social media to sow chaos," Burr said in a statement."

He knows Putin is lying. But he's pulling the chains of the FBI, the CIA, and the Justice Department. He's telling them outright that he doesn't trust them. Since before he was elected , they have all 3 been working to negate the will of the people and oust him from office. It's a deep state coup and he knows it.

We were attacked in the 2016 election. Should the United States not have confronted al Qaeda after they attacked the United States on 9/11/01?

The enemy at home is far more dangerous than the Russians ever thought about being. The deep state traitors simply must be rooted out and gotten rid of.

You're equating the possibility that Podesta's e-mails were hacked with the slaughter of 3,000 people?

You want to start a Nuclear War with Russia over this? Start another land war in Asia?

We KNOW that Russia meddled in our election 2016. I’m not saying we need to get into a shooting war over it, but Trump could have defended his own intelligence agencies, lead by people he appointed, in broad daylight with Putin standing next to him, instead of throwing them under the bus.

We were not attacked. It is an act of espianage that is tit for tat with what has happened with Russia ever since the end of WWII.
What is your suggestion? Start a nuclear war? Send all the birds and wipe them off the map?

They need thrown under the bus. They are a joke. He needs to drive the bus back and forth over them.

It's not the dead that are trying to bring down a duly elected president with lies and deceit. It's the living.

Our law enforcement personnel are trying to follow all of the shenanigans from the 2016 election by the Putin government and any Americans who may have been involved in attempting to subvert our electoral processes. I support them in their efforts to do so. It is sad that the once “law and order” GOP has tossed that reputation to the wind.

They're wasting our time. The real reason for keeping this witch hunt going is to protect the guilty in the Justice Dept. , including the FBI. They keep using the "ongoing investigation" excuse to keep from answering questions about the far more insidious behavior of the Obama Administration with their illegal spying and lying to FISA judges. And you're supporting their cover up. That's what's really sad.

And you are supporting Donald Trump, who just committed treason, or the next thing to it, today with the authoritarian leader of a hostile foreign power.

We do share fault in our deteriorating relationship with Russia. Obama and Hillary royally screwed it up.

Hopefully, our country has hit rock bottom in this Trump fiasco as Trump tried to go a bridge too far today. I don’t think this will be forgotten about and pushed aside in the news like his other scandals.
