Senate Republicans decided Tuesday not to hold a vote on unwinding the Affordable Care Act, effectively preserving the landmark 2010 law for the foreseeable future.

In deciding not to take up the latest proposal, authored by Sens. Lindsey O. Graham (S.C.) and Bill Cassidy (La.), their fellow Republicans are abandoning the policy goal that has animated their party for more than seven years.

2010: We just need the House
2014: We just need the Senate
2016: We just need the Presidency
2017: We just suck at this

The GOP folks are the amatures of professional politics. McConnel should resign for his failure to bring around his caucus to vote for repeal. Shame on them.

Nope, if they lose one, it will be the House. The Senate couldn't look more favorable to the GOP.

Ah, but they're trying to make the ACA fail by taking away funding. The majority of Americans want this act to continue having now found out how good it is. It could be better of course but that would require some cooperation from Republicans. They just don't do that on anything unfortunately. In fact they don't do much of anything.
