Gospel Salvation...Time Salvation

Many do not believe in Gospel, or Time, salvation. And rightly so, because to understand it, you need to take a close look at context.....who, what, where, when, why, how, etc. (if there are etceteras), otherwise one is bound to lump it along with just eternal salvation. Like, when Peter cried out, Lord, save me, I perish, while trying to walk on water, he meant eternal salvation, just like the regenerateD thief meant when he turned to Jesus after reviling Him, and asked to be remembered when Jesus entered His kingdom.
You see, the salvation that Jesus wrought for HIS elect, and them only, is absolutely, entirely, MONERGISTIC.
It did not depend on any input from man.
It began "in the beginning", when the Triune God, covenanted with Himself, and purposed, and swore to Himself (for there was no one greater to swear to), to redeem a people unto Himself, by being the very sacrifice, the very burnt offering, He was to offer Himself, in the Person of the Word become flesh.
He began this task by first creating Heaven (Genesis 1:), and then the Earth, and then the universe around, because you gotta ask yourself, "What does a God who inhabits eternity, need a heaven for".
Then, well, the Bible tells us what happened.
Now, when He rose from the grave, thus being confirmed by that Resurrection, as the Son of God Himself, He gathered His APOSTLES (not the church) and told them to go out and preach the gospel, the good news, to every nation, and they who believe, and are baptized, shall be saved.
Saved.
Now, wait a minute.
Didn't He just do that ?
Save His people ?
So what happened, did He forget ?
Did 40 days of travelling around, deepen the trauma of torture and crucifixion ?
And those apostles, why didn't anyone even ask Him what He meant. Where's hardheaded Peter, the loudspoken sons of thunder, doubting Thomas. 'smatter with those guys.
They were quiet, because they understood.
You see, He did indeed save His people from His own wrath.
Now, they, those same people need to be saved from the falsities in this fallen, corrupt, decaying, world full of ravening wolves disguised as sheep.
The kingdom of heaven is AT HAND.
Time or gospel salvation is SYNERGISTIC.
They need to repent, to believe, to join themselves to others of like faith, to trust, to obey.
Jesus has struck out a path, narrow as it may seem, they need to stay on that path, and THEY, the apostles were to TEACH God's people how.
They were the nucleus of the gospel ministry for God's people, particularly His church.

For the most part this is acceptable, except for two areas.
1) Peter was not crying out for eternal salvation, but desperation that he be saved from the elements that would overtake him.
2) We spend weeks and multiple threads concerning the thinking that Christ endured God's wrath. It is not Scriptural. Should you like to start a thread upon that topic, then do so. But know there are those on the BB that do not see the Wrath of God poured out upon His Son at the crucifixion. This in no manner lessens the crucifixion, but exalts the victory of Christ and the satisfaction of the Father.

The problem is when you try to mix up SYNERGISTIC Salvation with MONERGISTIC Salvation it doesn't work!... I know, no one doesn't mean to on here... But would you rob God of his Glory?... Brother Glen:)

I reject the teaching of Monergism, as Biblically WRONG. I am eternally grateful to the Lord for His salvation, and give Him ALL the GLORY for saving me!

Your reasoning is MOOT!
