This sheds some light on the subject:

1Cr 15:45 Thus it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being"; [fn] the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

1Cr 15:46 But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual.

1Cr 15:47 The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.

1Cr 15:48 As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.

1Cr 15:49 Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall [fn] also bear the image of the man of heaven.

1Cr 15:50 I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

1Cr 15:51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1Cr 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

1Cr 15:53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

1Cr 15:54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

1Cr 15:55 "O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?"

1Cr 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

1Cr 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Cr 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

 What the heck is "nanner puddin"....I suspect some quaint southern expression like Yall! Up here .....oh, never mind;)

How could possibly have lived a life (previous) of debauchery without any knowledge of "nanner pudding". It is southern, it is quaint, and it is GOOD!

I don't eat opossum, raccoon, or most other varmints. Beef, chicken and pork are my favs. Of course, grits go with most anything.

A man who is not discerning about food is not necessarily a dolt  Old Fashioned Oat Meal for me....however I only eat it as a breakfast meal, never a side dish.

How is that inaccurate? Maybe you just don't like how your dogma sounds when put in terms that aren't sugar coated with all the cool sounding theological jargon?

Oh now you have gotten personal & lost you sense of objectivity. Is that how you "Debate"?

Who was it that wrote the post advising about not using the word "Your" in an accusatory fashion?

*snip irrelevance*

Of course the obvious(and only answer) is that he committed adultery with her before the deed, because Jesus stated to even lust in your heart is adultery.
Correct. Forever is it the thoughts and intents of the heart upon which God looks. On earth, had David abstained, he would have been innocent. No prophet sent. No judgment upon his house. But according to Heaven, the deed was done, and he was guilty.

So too with Adam. Only a corrupt heart will desire something other than total and complete obedience to God. The assertion that Adam was pure and good until he swallowed is absurd. Had he been pure and good, he wouldn't have touched the fruit.

Adam was corrupted, and his disobedience is the fruit thereof.

Now that I have answered your question, please answer mine.

What sin did Adam commit to cause his heart to be corrupted prior to eating the fruit?
None. The corruption wasn't a result of sin, the sin was the outward working of corruption. What does an iron hinge do to rust? Yet a rusty hinge squeaks something awful.

If Adam's heart was corrupt, eventhough he was made perfect, then did God place the sin there(I think you believe this, but aren't willing to openly confess it on here)? Did satan place it there? Or did it come by "Elfin Magic"?
Sorry, if you reject the premise, you'll reject the answer. Oh. And your assumption about my thoughts is, like most of your assumptions, mistaken.

There has to have been some outside influence to cause Adam's corruption, Brother Aaron. God told him if he ate of THAT tree, he would surely die.
And, God said if you kill, you will be in danger of the judgment. But what did Christ say?

What you have is a very narrow view of God's commands, but God's commands are exceeding broad, Psalm 119:96. Not to eat of the tree was a commandment not to touch it, just as the commandment against killing is a prohibition of anger, and the commandment not to commit adultery is a prohibition of lust.

Always—always—God looks upon the heart.

Now, if his heart was corrupted before eating the fruit, then the fruit had no effect on him whatsoever.
Again, another unsubstantiated assumption.

So which is it? I want what YOU believe, and not a "smoke screen" by twisting a few scriptures. Give me YOUR belief, in YOUR words.

No more beating around the bush........
I give you Christ's words. Who cares what I think?

But . . . do you think you have presented a case where no sin or corruption existed before the partaking of the fruit? Didn't you just call Eve's belief concerning touching the fruit a lie of the Devil?

do you serve that before, after or with the possum stew? :D

While my personal favorite is Pecan Pie, Banana Pudding is delicious and I bet you would like it if you tried it.

And the North has it own quirks when it comes to food, I never saw anyone pour ketchup on mashed potatoes and even green peas till I came north. I have actually seen a few Northerners order grits before, and then pour milk and sprinkle sugar on them. That is blasphemy to a Southerner!

The north does have the best pizza and sandwich shops though, I'll give them that. But when it comes to Bar-B-Q, the South rules!

I'm getting hungry.

Well, Brother Aaron, you haven't proved your point whatsoever. If Adam had sinned outside of eating of the Tree, then God lied. Sin is what brings death, and w/o sin, there can be no death.

Let me dispel the myth, we don't all live in mobile homes, although they can be convenient, and marry our cousins. Some of us have college degrees. :)

Hey, you're getting awful personal there, Brother!!!!  J/K there Brother Quant. May God bless you with a Happy Thanksgiving!!

psssst! "Gooble, gooble"!!!
