Sooner or later there is one major problem that no one wants to try to tackle. Debt. Both private and especially national.
Not addressing this problem is due to a country that loves money. In this case somebody else's money. We as a country will sooner or later going to be slaves to the lenders.
This year? Or next. . ., who knows, but it is coming.

I agree with you. I think the money is essentially worthless.
I use a credit card because of the safety of not carrying large sums of money and due to the fact that they pay cash rewards. But, I don't spend more than the amount I have in my short term savings, so paying off at the end of the month is no problem.I am assuming you both live debt free?
There are legitimate reasons to use credit. I do not believe others should never use credit, but it should be used wisely. Purchasing a house is a wise use of credit in most areas if the buyer builds equity instead of just throwing away money on rent. The problem with buying is when a person uses a very long term loan so they can buy a more expensive house than they can actually afford. Another problem is many people don't plan for the worse. . .So, being debt free would be best for everyone?
Being debt free is the only way a believer should live.
Well, Greta and AOC probably aren't Baptist. Poor gals. (Forumsbaptist-only)How Dare You!!! No mention of man-made climate change?!?!

GuessI think the monetary system is based on an illusion. There is no money there.
Who owns all the debt? Some say China, but I read that China has a large debt, so whodoes own it?
