Man is a rather stupid animal… The “smarter” he gets, the easier he is to “fool”!
Have you ever seen that “Twilight Zone” episode about the old hillbilly and his coonhound that drown together? After drowning, he and his dog are walking down this country road, and come across a man at a gate. The man explains that he and his dog are dead, and he needs to come inside the gate to enter Heaven. The man refuses to let the dog in, stating… “Dog Heaven is down the road a piece.” All the while, the dog is barking up a storm. The hillbilly refuses to enter without his dog, so he continues to stroll down the road where he meets yet another man at a yet another gate. The second man at the second gate tells him that he almost entered “Hell” in that first gate. Shocked, the hillbilly explains that the dog was barking, and caused him to continue on his stroll down the road in search of something else. The man at the second gate tells him simply… “A man will walk straight into hell with both eyes open, but even the devil can’t fool a dog!”
Sad, but true…
When some think of the devil and his plans, some imagine a parade of “devil worshippers” doing Satan’s bidding. Satan is a lot brighter than that indeed!
There is what I like to call a “Coin of Eternity” it has two sides, God on one side, and Satan on the other. If you look at one side, you see God and his children, when you look at the other; you see Satan and those lost. You are either “Heads” or “Tales”, there is no third side of that two-sided coin, no matter how folks will intellectualize that there is!
Satan’s job is a rather easy one; all that is required of him to keep people from the God side of the coin is to instill “Reasonable Doubt”. Like the jury in the courtroom, all that is needed is to come up with in any way, shape, or form to use any type of loophole to create a reasonable doubt. It is that doubt that will keep folks away, turn them away, or keep them from truly believing. Instilling the reasonable doubt is rather easy; the hard part is keeping it there, as man grows not smarter, but “wiser”. For the harder part of the job, Satan turns to his best weapon… Man.
Man has one weakness that he has a hard time defending himself against, that weakness is his fellow man. Satan realizes that he cannot expose himself to man, because the very “validation” of seeing Satan would then instantaneously validate the existence of God! Imagine if Satan materialized in a local shopping mall somewhere, the people would go running screaming for God’s help. And during the screaming frenzy each and every one of the panicked people would be praying to God to save them, they now truly believe!
The very sight of Satan defeats his own purpose, ergo he must take a subtler route, so why not use man as a weapon against God? But how does he do that? How can Satan use man to further his own interests? Remember that coin of eternity I spoke of earlier? Satan’s purpose is a “mathematical” one, try and get more people on the Satan side of the coin, than the God side of the coin. Satan knows he has lost, I guess he just wants a large audience down in the Lake of Fire so that he has someone to complain to for an eternity.
Satan’s best venue to further his interests in is our eyes. We will alot of times believe what we see, not always what we hear, but if we see it with our own eyes, it is hard to ignore, the picture sticks in our mind. Satan instills the reasonable doubt, and then man himself keeps it in front of our eyes daily.
The last thing Satan wants is for man to “worship” him. For man to worship him would require an acknowledgement of his existence, and that is a bad thing. If one truly believes in Satan, then one must also truly believe there is a God. If you as a rational person had to choose between heaven and hell, you will choose heaven every time.
So how does Satan do the math you ask? That’s easy… Satan doesn’t care WHO you worship, as long as it is NOT God. He doesn’t care WHAT you believe, as long as it is NOT God! All Non-Christian religions do not worship Satan, but the trick is that they do not worship God either, therein lays the lie itself! By not believing and worshipping God, you further Satan’s cause. You cannot be on the God side of the coin unless you believe in God and worship him, ergo if you are not on the God side of the coin, you want to guess which side of the coin you fit into? Heads or tails folks, there is no third side of that two sided coin. You are either for God, or against God, no in-between.
The object of the game is to reach a human at its youngest age possible be it chronologically, or as a new believer, while it is still impressionable. If we place our children in church, God gets a head start on the devil, and the devil has to work all the harder to undo what God has begun. So what is the devil’s answer? Go after mankind during that age of growth, to get to man as early as possible. For Satan to try and instill his reasonable doubt in an adult is a little harder, they have become a bit wiser, and have more than likely heard the “Gospel of Jesus Christ”. Remember, if you had to choose, you would choose heaven. Ergo the earlier Satan can start, the better chance he has of success. Yes, he can and does grab people later on in life, but only after the stage has been set in youth to make for a successful grab.
It is the little things that kill us, and it is those same little things that we really never notice at first. Two of Satan’s latest weapons that he has equipped man with to aid in his self destruction are “Politically Correct” and “Keeping up with the times”. With these two little beauties it gives man the impression that God adapts to man, not man changing to meet God. Folks wielding these claim that the scripture seems to magically change with each passing year, with every change in society, it seems God has decided to change the content in his 66 books to meet the ever-changing needs of man.
Homosexuality is now “ok” fellowshipping with Satan is “ok”; people including so-called “Pastors” are “ok” with the twisting of scripture to meet the ever-changing times. Television promotes every sin possible, in every way possible, either blatant or subtle.
Satan sends out his servants to instill reasonable doubt, even here at BB.Com, Satan uses the BB bandwidth to spread doubt about God, and Baptists join right in the argument, “lovin every minute of it”! What happens when a new Christian comes on the board and sees all of the satanic babble? It instills reasonable doubt yet again; yet again Satan has done his job through his pagan servants.
What if your church in your hometown was as flooded with all of these pagans propagating doubt in God as they do here? Would it still be ok, or is it ok because they are not in your presence?
