Alberto Gonzales has gone so far to reinforce the idea of presidential precedent that he claimed that George Washington and Abe Lincoln both used electronic surveillence on American citizens. The reaction? There was none! I guess most people must think if electronic surveillence was okay for George Washington and Abe Lincoln to use surely it must be okay for George Bush to use.

 

I work for the Army and even with a secret clearance, I can assure you that there is absolutely NO intention on the Army or governments part in doing a conspiracy theory such as this.

The Army is highly compartmentalized Phillip. You cannot possibly know everything that is going on no matter what kind of security clearance you have.

Anyone that has been in the service and has had a security clearance knows that. There is no such thing as one size fits all when it comes to clearances. One may be an authority and have knowledge in one compartment but that does not mean that one has knowledge beyond the bounderies of that compartment.

One can be cleared for a secret clearance on just one piece of communication equipment, say an electronic encrytion device such as used by a 31 Mike. You know that and now everyone else does too.

BTW, most people that have or have had secret clearances tend not to speak about them in conversation to make themselves appear to be an authority on all things secret.

By the way a secret clearance is good and a top secret is higher but a top secret with special qualifiers is where you get into the real deal.

 

Then of course it also depends on where you work and what specific information you have access to.

Everybody and their brother gets one type or another in the military. It isn't like you have to be a super secret specop or anything to have one. It all depends on your MOS mine was 31 mike, multi channel communications operator.

 

You don't know what I do in the Army and you don't know how compartmentalized we are. If you were a green suit then you have no idea what I know, and it has nothing to do with a radio transmitter.

By the way, Top Secret is compartmentalized even more than secret clearance is; there are reasons for this.

Believe me when I say there are no plans to lock you away Poncho, unless you get committed for your wild stories.

 

And therein lies the real secret eh Phillip? Bush has already called people trying to protect the borders vigilantes and bloggers terrorists. How long before they are declared enemies of the state and locked up with no charges for just speaking their minds and doing the duty this government refuses to do? The "Patritot Act" laws with broad enough interpretations can already do this, or haven't you noticed?

As a brother Bro Curtis all I can say in response is for you to go back and actually read the MSM articles and declassified government documents in the thousands of links I have posted, then I will gladly accept your apology for saying that I have posted "unsupported factless paranoid rants".

Perception. The perception that everything that is painted leftist or conspiracy theory by the MSM only has unsupported factless paranoia without actually going there and reading all the articles and documents archived there.

Try this. It has nothing to do with these camps but it is a declassified government document. Go to Google or what ever search engine you want and type in "northwoods document national security archives" then read it. And while you are there check out some of the other declassified government documents. See if they line up with what the MSM has been telling us about our government.

Poncho, the AR you referenced concerns the use of current inmates of prisons as a labor force. It does not have anything to do with Gulag tyoe camps, and if you read the AR you would know that. I invite other BB members to follow that link and read the AR carefully.

Nope but it might give you an idea of how the government uses problem reaction solution and covers up their deeds with propaganda and lies. After you read that why not compare it to the memo where Bush says to Blair, "we were thinking of painting a plane in UN colors and flying it over Iraq maybe Saddam will shoot it down and be in breach" giving them a pretext to attack and invade Iraq, and the Downing street memos why not compare them to the Northwoods document how about to 911?

I know that. This is only one small piece of the puzzle, what do you expect anyway? To find a world wide conspiracy of evil explained in one little document or MSM article without any other effort on your part? You have to dig in places you've been told not too and in places you'd rather not it isn't easy and people are going to call you names and accuse you of believing in little green men and accuse you of posting "unsupported factless paranoia" while they have gone out of their way to avoid reading what has been posted in the first place. And that I suspect is why most people prefer to just roll their eyes and talk about republicans and democrats. They haven't got the intesinal fortitude to look for the real truth and declare it as it is because someone might call them names or disagree with them. They are afraid to be different to stand for something more than a political party.

But for all you coincidence theorists on BB that would rather endlessly debate an illusion into the smallest bits of miutia. Just to show I have a heart I'm going to take a break for a few days or mabye even weeks. Who knows. I could be doing more good for America by talking to people that would actually look at some of the evidence than keep beating my head against the bricks thrown at me here.

I think at this time I'm just as sick of reading all the nonsense about democrats and republicans you guys post as you are at trying to avoid real discussions on real issues based on documented facts rather than propaganda and perceptions.
