Some of the best trout fishing in the country is found in the Guadalupe River in the Texas Hill Country. Year around. The Canyon Tailrace portion of the river is excellent for rainbow trout.

Speaking of fish. . . As a Christian, Conservative I'm a fish out of water in the North East, so I would move to TX in a heartbeat. The only trouble is, they hate Yankees like me. I don't mind them hating folks from New Jersey like EWF. That's understandable, but I'm from CT, a much nicer-smelling (except for the governor) state.
