Haiku #02

Great example, thou
Your words flow like water.
Yours--but I must think.

Thou art my teacher
Yet I cannot but fail thee
So I write like this.
:laugh:

 

The student learneth
Graduation day awaits
Haiku champion!

 

Ah, graduation...
Terminate and commencing.
End school--start learning!

 

Into a new world
One of which demands much toil
No time for Haiku.

 

And yet, I noticed
In post number sixty-three
Six, not seven

More education
In the school of haiku now
Seven, not six

 

Good bye, fare thee well
Auf Wiederzein, So long now.
I'll see you later.

Sixty-three was fixed;
So nothing gets by you, huh?
Doctor Haiku, you.

 

The second became
Six instead of seven
How soon we forget.

 

Sixty-three better
Now you must attend to make
Sixty-six better.

 

Now your second row
Contains the six, not seven.
How you disappoint.

 

Finger-counting wierd
I haven't had much practice
Are there still five here?:laugh:

 

As teacher, I say
We both need to go to school
and learn haiku rules.

 

Four is correct count
The thumb is an extension
To slow down fast cars.

 

Tuition's not cheap.
Perhaps another member
would stoop to tutor?

 

All this time I thougt
Thumbs could retard just my bike.
Feet work best for cars.

Thumbs don't push pedals
Feet aren't right on handlebars.
Either way, please stop.

 

Feet are used inside
But... slow the car from outside
An extended thumb.

 

the haiku numbers:
one, two, three, four, five, six, eight.
(seven is too long)

 

Snow lies white and deep.
Equal underneath it are
Gardens, walks, and roads.

 

Sometimes it rains fast
Sometimes it snows too lightly
sometimes the sun heats

 

On wet rainy days
I amuse myself on web
bashing computer.

 

Rain, rain, go away
Come again another day--
Haiku rhythms here?
