People turn up in large numbers because they feel required to do so. Hardline organisers have powerful supporters, including in the Basij paramilitary force and in the Revolutionary Guards, who can always be relied on to do their duty.

The United States had gone to war declaring it must destroy an active weapons of mass destruction program. Instead, American troops gradually found and ultimately suffered from the remnants of long-abandoned programs, built in close collaboration with the West.

The fact is the country did have WMD's. I know the left likes to ignore it or twist it into oh yeah but they were old.... blah blah blah.
ALL of the sources for data said that Irag had chemical weapons, maybe even nukes, so blame it on faulty information!
I have NO doubt that it moved to say syria, and got used later on there against civilians!
Saddam won his disinformatzia and maskarova wars. He convinced everyone he had WMDs. However, he lost the shooting war that resulted.
