I saw a disinfectant,Dettol I think, that listed viruses including SARS-Cov-2

I don't know Dettol specifically, but I think most Quaternary disinfectants will advertise that they kill viruses, generally. According to the EPA, Quaternary ammonium even not labeled for SARS-CoV-2, can be used to kill SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) by following disinfection directions for the following virus(es), after which they list a virus or viruses that is/are on the label.

[Note: 1. since I am not familiar with Dettol, I don't know if it is Quat-based or something else; 2. Quat is for surface cleaning, not for the hands.]

We have cases of Detrol at work.
The stuff we have is a spray can product and it has a sign on it that it is not to be used.

we’ve been using a Ryobi fogger and Bioesque solution.

A “germ“ is really a vary general term that covers any microorganism, bacteria or virus.

Not one that I have checked so far claims to kill or even reduce viruses.
