Happy Thanksgiving to all. It's been a while since I've been on here. School has kept me busy. Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday for family and friends...I truly enjoy it. May all of you have a very blessed Thanksgiving...and be safe! I've missed being on here!:1_grouphug:

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my BB friends.

Although we live in a world full of trouble and turmoil, we still have much for which to be thankful.

May God richly bless all of you!

Wednesday, Scrabbles, our little scottie mix, could barely move. Her belly was hard to the touch, and sensitive. My daughter and I got her to the vet, and I'm trying to keep my composure as she is crying and promising to give up everything she has to pay for someone to save Scrabbles.

Fortunately, it was easily made right, although it was expensive. Today, she's back to her old self, just moving a little slower than usual. For that, I"m thankful.

Pets are a blessing, but it's difficult when you have to say good-bye.

We have a 11 to 12 lb Dachshund mixed and we feel the same about her as you do your dog. Her name is "baby" and she sleeps with us. She owns the place around here and will bite others, they are the most protective dogs there is I here of their masters. We can't even give her the same dog food but different type meat. She eats Cesar's Filet mignon but if we change it to beef or chicken she gets sick. On thanksgiving we give her one paper plate of turkey breast and nothing else. She may get a little sick but not bad. If we give her any dark meat at all she gets deathly sick.

We also know about saying good-bye to our dog also. My last one died in my lap with His big old eyes looking right into mine. It will stay with me and all the family as long as any of us live. Good luck with yours, Bbob

So, what did it end up being, Galatian? Was it something she ate?
