Hello! Im an evangelist! My brother and mom usually come with me on evangelistic outings. Something odd happens every time we do, my autistic brother has a self destructive meltdown calling himself “bad” over ridiculous things thats actually not biblically sinful. He gets jealous, thinking that I’m earning some sort of favor with God, which isn’t even biblical. I don’t do good works too be saved, I do them as a result of being saved. His jealousy scares me because he has mental health issues, and people like that can’t control there actions. And the more outreach i do, the more jealous he gets. He also has no comprehension of what God’s grace even is, no matter how or in what way it’s explained he thinks he can save himself by works(we where raised catholic but are no longer catholic, I’m now a born again Christian and so is my mom, we also are baptist). His jealousy tantrums really scare me.He also thinks hurting himself somehow pays for his sins, which is not even Christian as Jesus took our place.
