Know there were "papers" going around on both side regarding this, was there ever an official decision made by the SBC at leadership levels?

"leaders" so called would have no power to make such a decision in the SBC. Your question misunderstands the "power structure" of the SBC entirely.Know there were "papers" going around on both side regarding this, was there ever an official decision made by the SBC at leadership levels?

The influence of these doctrines throughout the SBC will come down from the seminaries teaching of these doctrines. It seems at a stalemate to this point. But if more calvies are put in faculty positions throughout, then the more influence they have on the future pastors and so on and so forth.

You tell me...arent you a member of that mess
Stalemate between Seminaries, I might add. SBTS being the most calvinistic, SWBTS being the most anti-calvinistic, with New Orleans probalby similar. SouthEastern you might call "Sympathetic" to calvinists...The others, I don't know.

Isn't their current president a staunch calvinist?
And think sthta the Seminaries at least should get back to teaching such?
1. President of what, the SBC? Fred Luter? Not sure...I don't think he is.
2. No one can make the seminaries do that with the power structure as it exists right now...

I am uncomfortable around any Baptist association that mimics a denomation. That includes the SBC and ARBCA.
