Building a local Church is not the same as gathering a crowd. Moses brought a "mixed multitude" out of Egypt with him and God spent the next 40 years purging them out (as well as their affects on Israel).

Be careful about pragmatically measuring theological correctness or the reality of God's blessings by numerical growth.

Any carnival will gather a crowd.

Pink and Tozer have written quite a bit. What, specifically, were you thinking of in making the above observation?
