You're just unappreciative of the love and adoration that your cats have for you.

Okay, tying this post into the OP, I would say that the answer to the question of whether or not we have lost our minds, the answer is a resounding YES!!!
 :saint:

Seriously, do you mind me asking if you're going back for a degree, or "just to study" -- you have probably addressed this in other threads, but I haven't read them yet.

A friend's son is heading off to a Tech university in a couple of weeks...his major is PHYSICS...and he has a full scholarship!!! Talk about feeling like HE's from another dimension....it's VERY hard to converse with him about his plans, because I need a text book to understand most of what he's saying!

I've been wondering about some of the posts. I have come over from the puritan board where the discussions are deep and thought out, and have been disapointed by the lack of depth in my own group the baptists. It seems that style of worship and questions of UFOs drugs and other things are the most prevelant. Lets get deep!

Come on now, PastorFaulk. I have lurked on the Puritan Board for years.
It is deep, I will grant, as far as many being conversant with Puritan writings. As well as a different world from Baptists.
But there can be some "interesting" conversations there, too. For example, the recent one in which a number were convinced that it is wrong for a woman or children to pray aloud in the family prayer time. That only the husband should ever pray.
There are plenty of topics there about acapella exclusive psalmody being the only way to go, and that one should separate from those who don't.

I am an old-timer here. Many of the current posters were not here last year. Last year's were not here two years ago, for the most part.
All boards ebb and flow.

They provide lots of entertainment. Just pick one up, put scotch tape around one paw, and let the cat go. The cat will invent a new dance.

Hope, just kidding. Please don't call the humane society. Actually, we have two inside cats and a colony of outside.

I watched a friend's cat stick her head in an empty bag of doughnuts (thinking she would "steal her some goodies"), get her head stuck, and then BACK around the room for a solid thirty minutes trying to get out of the thing. The humane society MIGHT have "arrested us" for not assisting her sooner, but THEY would have been laughing too hard to help--just like we were!

Here are some cats that won't be allowed in our house...

I have been seeing commercials on and off all day advertising this new ABCfamily series starting this month...

And from the previews it is a raunchy cartoon!

I miss bugs bunny!

Ok, if I hijacked this thread.... it needed it!!! lol

Does anyone remember a cartoon called Felix the Cat? Of course, no one will ever beat Sylvester.

Suffering succatash, I read the Bible, smoked marijuana, and saw a ghost.

Yeah TT ABCfam channel is not a channel for families at all. Last month they were premiering a new show about Greek life on a collage campus. That is so what I want to sit down and watch with my family every night....

Getting a degree. At 60 !! So, what do you think ?

Is the post tied in to the OP or not.

You tryin' to talk with a guy who dreams formulas and equations and travelling forward and back in time ?

Now I know you gotta be outta yer mind !!

Reminds me of the time when I called my son and told him about my computer not booting up quick, and all I wanted was to confirm if it's my MBR or what, and I got treated to 30 minutes of explanation of how a processor and memory and operating systems interact, I cried all the way to bed, man !!

My cats don't try to back out of bags when they get themselves stuck.

They try to run away from them. All through the house. Knocking stuff over. Running into things.

FWIW, my wife thinks that having four cats is a sign of mental illness. The vet's office says that more than four cats is a sign of mental illness. That's why there's room for four on the applications. More than that and they turn you into the men in white coats.

My cat used to have what I call "cat fits". She'd run all over the house like a crazy animal for a while, chasing invisible things.

She did this BEFORE I put a sock on her head and watched her try to back out of it. So I didn't drive her crazy with the sock. ;)

The cat probably saw ghosts like those in the other thread.
