You take offense that I am a non-Baptist Christian? Perhaps you would like to start another thread on that, and I would be happy to join you there to discuss why I am not a 'Baptist'.
Matthew 25:47-50? There is no such text in scripture. I assume you meant Matthew 26:47-50 and simply made a common mistake as we all do on occasion.
I saw where you cited in response to Cathode, Matthew 3:15 -
Have You Ever Attended...
I see where you cited Matthew 23:9 in general -
Have You Ever Attended...
I see where you cited Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, Romans 10:14, 2nd Timothy 4:2, Matthew 24:14, Isaiah 52:7, and Luke 14: 23. about "Altar Call" -
Have You Ever Attended...
I see where you cited Matthew 26: 47-50. in response to Cathode about the shroud of Turin -
Have You Ever Attended...
Here are the texts:
Mat 26:47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
Mat 26:48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.
Mat 26:49 And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
Mat 26:50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.
What do these texts have to do with the subject of Jesus' likeness in complexion, looks? The context is that they are literally in a garden just outside the city,
at night, in the darkness, with only a full moon for light, and possibly torches, and everyone wearing a cloak or clothes to keep warm, as it was cold that night, even as Peter tried warming himself by a fire in a central courtyard.
