Folks I came across this version of "In the time that You gave me" by Bradley Walker and a posthumous performance by Joey Feek who lost her battle to cancer a few years back. This clip is from the Gaither Hour and I fell in love with the lyrics of this song which caused me to seek Him and ask, "have I done all that I could in the time that You gave me?"

I prayerfully hope this song does for you what it did for me, as it sent my heart seeking Him to search my life files to make sure that I wisely used the time He gave me to honor Him. Serve Him. And live as the witness He called me out to be . .

Be blessed. And please feel free to note in the comment section if God's Holy Ghost spoke to your heart in a similar way as He did to me. Shalom!

A visiting evangelist at our church recently made the point that the start of each day is a clean slate in which each Christian has the opportunity to improve upon the prior day. I thought that was a good point to ponder and act upon in order to get focused on the wise use of our time on Earth.

Beautiful song, beautiful sentiment.

One of the most powerful witnesses I encountered was the guy who cleaned the restrooms of our church building. He scrubbed the edges and the corners until they were spic and span.

Sometimes we do not know that our actions impact the lives of others, and so we are to serve Christ as best we can as long as He gives us the time.

Psalm 84:10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
