Just one more comment then I’m done with this. My wish for my family is to experience being in the family of supporting Christian’s in the PB church. When you view and hear sermons done at their churches notice the strong family units that exist there. Do you hear babies crying, do you hear children in the background (sometimes participating in worship and in singing?) These PB kids are raised up to be solid children of God. That’s satisfying to the heart and soul of every parent I know of.

It’s not cynical. I just believe they mean what they say they believe. They believe the elect will be saved, even without the elect trusting Christ. I have said they’re good folks. When I’m back home, I attend their fellowship.

I’ve never heard that. What scripture tells them this…. How do they justify it… and are they absoluters?

    Yes.

Some of them probably are not.

P.S. I don't know what Scripture they use. Some of those that they take that indicate to them that everything is predestined and ordained of God (which to me means no one is responsible for anything they do, good nor bad). But you see, I don't agree with their theology, so I don't know or don't remember them citing a Scripture on the matter--just recall some saying in my hearing that they were Absoluters, and being a quite young person, I didn't know what the term meant, and didn't care much, either. I trusted Christ some years after I left home.
