NIC, M4H, We believe that God will heal according to His will. There is such a huge plan in this world and we as individuals can only see our piece in it, we cannot see this plan as the whole that it is. Sometimes within the PLAN, God heals and sometimes He doesn't. My guess is when He doesn't heal, if we look hard enough, at some point, we may see a reason. Many people have been saved by the testimony of Christians who are dying and keep a great Christ-like attitude.
M4H, your example of the pie was good and if I believed God never healed then it would have had a bigger impact on my thinking. But I do believe God can and does heal. Instantly, over time, through doctors and medicine, His hand is in it all. Also, just so you know, I believe the "perfect" is our coming eternal state. Either when we die or when Christ returns and establishes His kingdom, what ever happens first in a persons life. DHK and I part in this area. I believe what I said because the Face to Face issue must be really stretched to fit DHK's interpretation that the "perfect" is the Bible. DHK and I both believe the completed Bible was extremely important. Nothing new is added to the Bible when a prophecy comes true. The prophecies will only happen exactly how they say and they are already accounted for in the Bible. The Bible is complete in its prsenting of God's plan of salvation and restoration of a fallen world. No book could hold all that God is and knows but God has given His completed Word for us in the Bible. Hope that made sense.

Brian
