Heartbreak Ridge

I was on duty the day they filmed the last scene of the movie which was filmed where I was stationed. Clint was very chatty with all the Marines and their families.

I have a friend who had a small speaking role as one of the agents in "Richard Jewell" and said he was surprised how friendly and funny Eastwood was, and how far he was from what his public image is.

Years ago John Wayne told Clint he thought Clint's western's were un-American. Clint laughed as he related the story. Of course it appears that years later Mr. Eastwood did come somewhat to his senses and now he has made a number of good, culture building movies like 15:17 to Paris.

Thanks for the link. I've been searching this in Netflix but is not available. I heard its a great movie to watch but only fictional.

It's a good movie. My favorite war movie is the first half of Full Metal Jacket. The last half is horrible.
