Its not rocks its called the scripture and what you are doing is placing an experience beyond that of the Biblical text and that is what is called New Revelation which is a heretical view. I would not look at Pragmatism as a means to your ends, for surely Joel Osteen, and many others do the same.

I don't know why God gave Colton the experiences shared in the book. I know thousands have been drawn to a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ by both the book and the movie.
Our job is to reflect God rightly.
During the earthly ministry of Christ, at times he told those he had healed to not tell, and other times he sent them to tell what they had seen and heard.
I pray the Pharisees will drop their rocks and help maximize the opportunity to be part of the conversations with people who are wanting to learn truth about God.
