Mark Driscol is also very popular and I cant stomach that man's preaching nor books. I have been to his blog and his site, yes. I may one day get his book, but it would have to have something real special about it, and what my current books do not provide. Is there any advantages his book has over my Lutzer & MacArthur discernment books?

I think his book is very good and I can recommend it. I haven't read MacArthur's book so I couldn't tell you about that one. If you want to read it, read it. Each book will have a different bent and I find value in reading many different books on the same subject. There is not one "only" book on any given topic. :)

Read his blog. It will give you a sense of the man.

Yes it is good to read many different books as each will cover different territory. I am getting allot out of this book exposing the new age/new spirituality movement not only in church but in our culture. The author has seen things that MacArthur, nor other authors have.
