I don't know, but I hope I'll be able to recognize people from CF. Will most of you have the same member names?
Over there, I have a Christian icon rather than a Baptist one, but that's only a technicality. I am a longtime member of a Southern Baptist church, was saved in another one at 10 years old, have been baptized by immersion, and have never heard doctrinal error preached from the pulpit at our church. So why the question? I guess I just don't like labels, is all. Kind of funny, but I'd rather call myself a Christian than a Baptist--although I did choose Baptist here, and theologically, Baptist comes the closest if I have to pick one.
My husband, now... he was raised Lutheran, has a Catholic sister, his mother now attends Calvary Chapel, but the way he's so enthusiastic about participating in our church. you'd think he has Baptist in his DNA. That's definitely where God has led us.
He may be interested in joining this forum, if that's OK with the staff here. I could ask him.
