Just saying hello!

I'm Katie, I'm 23 and I live in Southern Louisiana with my incredibly sweet husband. :) I'm the pianist at a very tiny Independent Baptist church.

I haven't participated on a forum in a couple of years, and hopefully this one will have much less drama ;) I'm not sure how often I'll be on, since I use the library's internet. Even so, I'm sure I'll enjoy getting to know y'all a bit!

You'll find a few that love to chase rabbits, challenge your sanity, and test your patience, but for the most part a genial crew who can get a little brusque at times, but have a heart of gold.
Enjoy and just ignore the few nay-sayers as they appear; won't take you long to identify.:thumbs:

"Miss Owl" was the nickname my husband gave me when we first started talking because I always stayed up late. But now its "Mrs. Owl" lol :) and I just think owls are cute in general...even though they are a bit popular now.

BTW, did your hubby, Mr. Owl, ever figure out how many licks it took to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop? You're only 23, so you may not get that joke.


If you do understand it, I ain't buying the 3 licks....

Hah! I've heard the joke but didn't connect it to the Owls? So I just googled it and watched the commercial on YouTube. Too cute! I guess I am young lol.

Lol a unibrow! Makes me like it even better now! I've just always done it that way because usually an emoticon pops up if I do it the normal way...and they usually look dumb to me. And I just like being different...good Baptists always go against the grain :p

Just tilt your head to the right more and it'll all be ok.
