The Sermon on the Mount was not the blueprint to how to live and act now as a Christian, those are in the Epistles themselves!

The Sermon on the Mount is the doctrine of Christ. “And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings [Sermon on the Mount], the people were astonished at his doctrine:” (Matthew 7:28)

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” (2 John 9)

Not possible in this world. Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world. But he rules in heavenly Jerusalem above. Only those who are born again can see this.

“But you have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assembly and congregation of the firstborn, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous, who have been made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks of something better than Abel’s does.” (Hebrews 12:22–24)
All the nations come up to Him in His reigning, are they going up to Heaven then?

The Sermon of the Mount shows to us the ethics amd morality of the Kingdom of Jesus, but was not the given blueprint on how to line once saved, as that would be found in the Epistles!

All the nations come up to Him in His reigning, are they going up to Heaven then?
“They were singing a new song: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed, and at the cost of your own blood you have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation. You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”” (Revelation 5:9–10)

When are we a kingdom and priests?

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9)

neither proves that the Sermon was our blueprint for living!

How many times do you find Paul (the epistles) and others quoting the Sermon? Look for it, it's all over the place.
The "blueprint" given to us would be to reckon ourselves as having died in Christ, made alive again, and to now walk in and be filled by the Holy Spirit!

Yes I can, as we would still have Romans to show us the way!
Paul teaches the Sermon in Romans 12.
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:19–21)

We have to though be saved, and abiding in jesus and walking/yielded to the Holy Spirit in order to do any of that for God!

Bible though states that the sower of the word should be paid for his work, so wouldm see musicians and artists/authors in same light. not to be seeking money, but still should be supported by those who are blessed by the ministry!

The preacher,
