And all of them are a bunch of Godless pagans who were unfortunately embraced by the Christian church because of their political conservatism. What a shame that we have so little discernment in the Christian Church today.

Benny is not a part of what I believe in. He is so far away from what the Bible teaches. It is really sad. Our only hope is to pray that God opens his eyes to the real truth of the Bible.

Has anyone ever read "The Confusing World of Benny Hinn"?

I would highly recommend it. An excellent book that's thoroughly researched documented.

Whatever you think you know about Benny Hinn, it actually gets worse.

I'm sorry I disagree as I use to see my grandmother put her hand on the TV in the late 50s or early 60s and the one behind it all was Oral Roberts... I didn't believe all the hulabaloo then and don't buy it now!Brother Glen

Benny Hinn would have a great show, if it was just harmless entertainment. But it's not. He is a false prophet, a spiritual bully, a liar, deciever of those who don't put their trust in the Bible.

The best defense against him....the KJV.

I watch Benny Hinn all the time...when I need a good laugh.

Actually, I've always wondered something. When I do watch him, which is almost never, he always has a long line of people who want to get healed, and most of them seem to. If he is so endowed with the healing power of God, why doesn't he go to the hospitals and nursing homes and heal the people there? Surely the people there are in need of healing just as much as those who go to his crusades.

Oh wait, maybe I already know the answer. No TV cameras in a hospital. And besides, when those in hjospitals aren't healed, he'd be exposed as the fraud he is.

    God Bless!!!

    Adam,

First of all Hinn (or as the Door calls him, Captain Toupee) does claim to have gone into a hospital in Sault St. Marie and healed everyone there including all of the patients, the staff and even people who just happened to be walking past the hospital that day.

He claims that nurses wheeled patients into the chapel until it was packed and hundreds more watched from an "overflow" area.

One small problem - when asked by ivestigators, no one at the hospital remembered him ever being there and all but two had never even heard of him.

Inestigators couldn't find one patient who was there at the time who remembers him, much less having been healed by him.

There have been several exposes on Hinn, including ones by HBO and Bill O'Reilly, (in his "Inside Edition" days) which show that the reason everyone is healed is that they're all plants. They're all actors paid by Hinn.

He has been asked several times by several watchdog groups, including the Christian Research Institute and the Trinity Foundation to provide some sort of medical documentation for the "healings" at his shows and in the only two cases in which he
complied, they were proven to be fake.

All of this is heavily documented in the book, "The Confusing World of Benny Hinn".

You know, my Preacher was just talking about this, but he wasn't talking about Benny Hinn...he was out on Tuesday night visitation and happened upon a Pentecostal preacher and they debated the healing issue and my Preacher said "C'mon, lets get in my car and go down to the local hospital and shut it down...then after that we can take a drive to Kentucky and you can heal my mother who is dying of cancer." It's shameful what people do in the name of the Lord, but then again, He told us this would happen.

I have a couple thoughts on the matter, I hope someone else hasn't already made this point as I do not want to "kick a dead horse". (of course if Hinn is around we may want him to kick it and then we'll get more plowin' done)
    1) If people are walking up to get healed, and he supposedly has that kind of power, why are there always "catchers" standing behind these people?
    2) I'll believe Hinn when he heals his bald head.

I just had a friend, a fine old Christian gentleman flop over and die in a Faith-healing church foyer. Why did they pack him up and ship him off to Methodist Hosp? Why didn't the "Preacher" run up there and lay hands on him and do the do? Dieing in their own backyard is not good advertisement.
    Thank You
