Awesome! I would do a long distance dedication to Mrs. Poles for our 35th anniversary tomorrow, but at my house, bluegrass is a lonely affliction. The beautiful Mrs. does not have any love for this most unique style of American music.KenH said:On tomorrow morning's show - 12/27/08 - I have quite a few instrumental tunes lined up, and a short history lesson about a post-War Between the States event.
The show will be starting off hot and fast - 7:00-10:00 a.m. central time.
Hiding my stash of bluegrass music...sneaking around to listen to Bluegrass Junction on XM. As a WV girl, she says her grandparents played that when she was small, so she got sick of it. Poor thing. She has many good qualities. Her taste in music ain't one of 'em.Bro. Curtis said:Well, you've had 35 years to convert her.......what have you been doing ?
That's cool. Mrs. Poles and I have much in common, but our musical tastes are way way apart...and I like many genres.Just kiddin' MP. Luckily, I met Phyllis at a bluegrass musician's party, so we've had that to share.
