Things went really well this morning. I really enjoyed doing the show as I am finally feeling comfortable with talking over the air as this was my third show.

Awesome! I would do a long distance dedication to Mrs. Poles for our 35th anniversary tomorrow, but at my house, bluegrass is a lonely affliction. The beautiful Mrs. does not have any love for this most unique style of American music.

Hiding my stash of bluegrass music...sneaking around to listen to Bluegrass Junction on XM. :laugh: As a WV girl, she says her grandparents played that when she was small, so she got sick of it. Poor thing. She has many good qualities. Her taste in music ain't one of 'em.

That's cool. Mrs. Poles and I have much in common, but our musical tastes are way way apart...and I like many genres.

Ken, How do you feel about the use of the electric bass in BG music?

I definitely prefer the acoustic bass but I can tolerate the electronic bass.

I also prefer no percussion but I can tolerate light percussion such as Alison Krauss & Union Station make use of.

I really enjoyed doing my show this morning. I had had some technical glitches the past couple of weeks but no problems at all today - I thank God for that.

Also, I found out from someone on the technical side of the W-W-B how many people were listening. I don't think I can publish the number but I was pleasantly surprised at how many folks were listening.
