Hello Bro. Daryl!

A great BIG welcome to the BB from the great state of Illinois!

Come on down to the COMMON GROUND COFFEE HOUSE in "All Other Discussions", where as Christians, we are all on common ground...

It is a great place to kick back, relax, and get to know each other. And we have FREE food and beverages!

Blessings,
§ue

Both of my kids were born in KY, so the Bluegrass State is near and dear to my heart. Welcome to our little corner of the world.

Heres one Kentuckian welcoming the new Kentuckians to this Forum website!

The site gets classier, smarter, more handsome, or more beautiful with every new Kentuckian that joins!

God bless,

Welcome from yet another Kentuckian.

I am from Central KY, as are a few more, but I have never met any of them personally, although more than one, including D28guy live within an hour of me.

I have both family and several friends in his hometown of Berea, and my bride, mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother, one niece, two aunts, two uncles and grandfather (and perhaps some more family members, which I cannot recall on a moment's notice), as well as several friends, all are or were alumni of Berea College.

I fact, my neighbor and schoolmate from three doors away, Dr. J____ ____ is a Professor and for several years was a Department Chair, as well, at Berea. And, the father of my bride's best friend, Mr. L____ ____, just last year retired as an instructor at Berea, as well. (BTW, Pray for him, everyone. He was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, and is undergoing treatment, currently.)

If you are in, or get to the Central KY area, look us up.

BTW, my bride was reared as ORB, but I thankfully was able to help her see the light! :godisgood:

Brother Bob is going to have some things to say about that comment I'm afraid.
