Just a quick introduction.
I just joined the board to just get a outlook on what people are discussing in the Baptist church.
I’ve a interesting background, raised and saved in the Church of Christ, joined the Baptist church at 14 because that’s where the youth in my area attended. Since then I have bounced between Southern Baptist and Pentecostal churches for the last 30 years.
I recently was asked to take on a Mission site for our church as the Leader. Essentially shepherding a group of about 7- 12 people in a low income housing area. We meet on Sundays and have prayer, sing from the Hymnal, and then I preach. I’m really excited to be able to minister every week.
I’m currently a member of the Baptist church in my area that has a tremendous heart for outreach.
