-Hillary Clinton: ‘Religious Beliefs Have to Be Changed’ Toward Abortion

On Thursday Hillary Clinton, in an address to the sixth annual Women in The World Summit, proposed that religious beliefs opposing abortion needed to be changed:

“Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced. Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper.

Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.” …

So we will have to rewrite the Bible to suit the Clintons and their party of death!

And O/R has a point. Reproductive rights translates to abortion. All other women's health concerns take a back seat to abortion. ITL brings up valid points but if we are honest we have to admit to ourselves the sacrament of abortion is wha really needs to be protected.

When she says there are "deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed,” I presume she is talking about access to contraceptives, prenatal care, routine gynecological care, treatment of STD's, and yes, abortion. Also stopping the practice of forced marriages of female children and teens in Muslim culture (and subsequent births of babies to these teens), polygamy, and genital mutilation. Conservative Muslims oppose the use of any birth control, for example. Almost all Muslims oppose the pill, IUD's, vasectomies, tubal ligations, and hysterectomies. (and abortion) (added by carpro)

I think it's safe to say that Clinton supports that part of ObamaCare that mandates contraceptive coverage, therefore whatever ObamaCare covers she would want this to happen in other countries.

The day Hillary Clinton , or any other liberal, confronts muslims and tells them they have to change their "cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases" , be sure to put out a notice.

It'll never happen. She'll go after the liberal's favorite whipping boy, Christians, and nobody else. And in this country, it will be totally about abortion.

ITL has already been provided proof of that in Hillary's own words. He just chooses to ignore it.

No, I agree abortion was likely included in her phrase "reproductive rights" but she never said the word and the phrase probably includes other issues as well.

Perhaps all these anti-abortion folks need to remember that Scripture speaks to what place liars will have in the lake of fire.

I'm not bothering to do a search and look back, but are you not the one who said, when I pointed out certain individuals, Martin Luther King for one, that were almost inherently adulterers, will spend their eternities in the lake of fire, that answered 'faith in Christ covers all sin?'

Hey Hillary, what if Mrs. Rodham had decided to be free of her 9 month long gestation and freedom from responsibility? You'd definitely not be a potential candidate for prez.

Do you have some sort of daddy/son fetish? Or are you just confused about some aspect of parenthood that you screwed up?

My dad is dead. I AM NOT your son. The avatar says ZAAC.

I will be more than happy to be the fat old man who picks you up by your ear and lovingly disciplines you for your out-of-control behaviors ... if you want me to stop calling you son,.then act like a responsible, Bible believing, God fearing, American who knows the difference between demonstrating for a wrong and not inciting riots and anger. Shalom Zaac!

This is one of the most potent comments Her Highness has made - will conservatives remember to cite her as the "16 election approaches??
Please note I said CONSERVATIVES, not Republicans, as I'm positive the party heads would "never stoop to quoting such malarkey"!

That was the position McCain took in 2000 and look what we got!

They are broadcasting openly that we have to change what we believe or else...why won't we believe that they mean it and prepare accordingly?

Yep, and it seem that the GOP still doesn't grasp that fact.
Then again, maybe they do!?

Some of them have, at least I hope so!

Sarah Palin did in 2008 but McCain muzzled her to some extent. I recall in 99 and 2000 McCain saying he would beat Gore like a drum when he was running against Bush but it was all smoke! He never laid a glove on Obama!
