I grew up in the UMC. My grandparents helped to found our little Methodist church. My uncle was the section and I was his assistant. So, while I no longer share many of their beliefs, I still have a lot of affection and happy memories of them. So it's especially heartbreaking to see what has happened to that denomination. There is a remnant of Bible believers in that denomination, but they're facing a tidal wave of liberalism.
