Is anyone concerned that twice in a week, someone got over the WH fence, and yesterday, MR. Gonzales made it to the front door of the WH. Obama and daughters had just left.

Does anyone else have the idea that the sharpshooters on the roof of the WH should have dropped that 50 yards from where he got too? I assumed that if you did this you'd be shot before you got that close? Maybe I was always wrong, or the secret service thinks like the boss, and has grown indecisive, TOO?

Now don't yell at me for asking this question. But why do you do that? Why did you think it was necessary to refer to the man in your title as a "Hispanic man" as opposed to just a man or just by his name?

Did any major news outlets refer to him as a Hispanic man in their tag lines?

No one, regardless of race should be allowed to get that close to our leader, whether I like him or not.

The SS made a decision, they chose not to do their job.

One of these days it will happen and end badly for Obama and or his wife and children.

I pray that this is a wake up call. The security, or lack thereof, of the White House is probably a good indicator of how we're dealing with the security of the country.

If it's this lax at the White House, one can only wonder what else we're not watching.

Pray that God gives our leaders wisdom to fulfill their Constitutional duties.

Obviously because he was an illegal immigrant that was trying to infect the President with the "rare and mysterious" enterovirus.

So "Hispanics" are not just jumping the fence on the Texas border? How ironic!

Why was it necessary to refer to him as a man - as opposed to person?

That is a good question. Maybe I shouldn't have referred to the Russian jet incident as a "Russian" flying the fighter jet? It was my choice and I stand by it, just as my local NBC affiliate used that same description to describe the guy, who jumped the fence and made it into the front door!

Thanks Jedi .... I thought the same thing, but knew I'd get slammed for the title I used, and I didn't want to cause more of a commotion than I already did! I'm just surprised you haven't been jumped for your comment. Then again, you don't have a group of folks trying to judge your every move, thought or words.

Nevertheless, let me say this, I have enjoyed the last few days of the Board more than any in a long time. There is something to be said for ignoring those who need to be ignored!

Again, was it ironic that a Hispanic man from TEXAS, jumped the fence and rushed into the WH front door? I found it rather amusing, and the news station I watch at night used the same terminology I chose to use in this post! So, I will go to their FB page and tell them some on the board did not like them saying, "A Lone Hispanic Male, Climbed the Fence, and Ran Past Security, Making it to the Front Door of the White House." They went on to speculate that this man was protesting Obama's failure to sign an amnesty bill before the election, and that he may have wanted to give Obama a message on his dissatisfaction!

Now that makes sense to me! Because some of the Mexican Advocacy groups here in Southern California [I'm home for the weekend] are protesting loudly over the failure of Obama to do what he has promised to do for years, now! They really felt this was the year, and that to wait until after the election means more illegals being deported. Personally speaking, I hope more get deported, but that is because I can't stand to see lawbreakers running wild and free in a nation that has laws against illegal entry into the country!

Now, some may think that is racist, but it is just my passion for the sovereignty of this nation and the strength of our border security. Both of which are being disregarded from the president on down! All of these men and women need to be voted out, or impeached, and we need people leading America, who cares about America!

Why the complaint that RD2 called him a Hispanic man? You should have noted what he said in his OP more carefully.

"...the sharpshooters on the roof of the WH should have dropped that 50 yards from where he got too [sic]?"

Referencing a person as that is rather dehumanizing.

Always the critic .... never a (constructive) contributor? Monday morning/arm chair QBs are a dime a dozen. Thanks for your thoughts on "that" ....

You seem to always be looking for that proverbial pat on the back. Did I not ask if any major news source had used that in their tag lines? If you took the title from somewhere else, that's all you had to do was say that as I had essentially asked you that question.

If you were attempting to show the irony of a Hispanic man jumping the White House fence as they also continue to "hop fences" illegally entering the country, you simply didn't set it up that way. So pardon me for asking the question of why. Carry on.:wavey:

Sorry, my bad ....

"...the sharpshooters on the roof of the WH should have dropped that50 yards from where he got too [sic]?"

As I have done in some threads, and in some responses, I didn't catch my error, which omitted a word. It should have read:

the sharpshooters on the roof of the WH should have dropped that intruder 50 yards from where he got too...

We can all make mistakes, brother, and this is one more example of you failing to give me the benefit of the doubt. Anyone with a good sense of English, would have clearly seen that the sentence was missing a word or two! So, let me remind you, brother, a rush to judgment is as less a sin, as fornication and murder and gossip and hate.

It seems the man is also a veteran of the US military. As such he should have known better.
It seems he was running in to tell the president the sky is falling... or atmosphere is collapsing...
