Hitler - Suicide or Escape?

I think the low-down dirty rat died as the sniveling coward that he was.

It's too bad his henchmen Himmler and Goering escaped the gallows by swallowing poison. In Goering's case it was surmised that he got his cyanide pill from an American officer who retrieved it from among his effects that were being held in storage. This officer was given Goering's watch by the former Reichsmarschall himself for some reason. What a coincidence!

It's been discovered that Martin Bormann also cyanided himself when he found his escape was cut off. His remains were found & IDd by DNA.

Hanna Reitsch(1912-1979), the famous pilot & 1st woman to fly a helicopter, one of the few people Hitler trusted outside his immediate circle, begged him to leave berlin in her plane with her & her boyfriend, but he flatly, absolutely refused, and ordered her to leave while there was still time. She confirmed Hitler's refusal to leave, & she knew him well enough to know when his mind was made up. I don't think there's any doubt Hitler killed himself & his body was burned.

What people?
Hitler's personal secretary, Traudl Junge - his valet, Heinz Linge - his SS adjutant, Otto Gunsche, all stated they saw his & Eva's bodies. Hitler had shot himself in the R temple with a Walther PPK 7.75 MM pistol. Eva had ingested cyanide.

Over 20 people witnessed their bodies being burned, & positively knew the bodies were Hitler's & Eva's. Only after the fall of the Soviet Union did Russia reveal they knew they'd found their bodies, but concealed the fact Hitler was actually dead for propaganda purposes.
