I have never read where the Bible says that Paul, Peter, James, John were qualified to WRITE Scripture either. Qualififed as apostles, yes. To PREACH the Kingdom of God and the Gospel, yes. But NOWHERE does it say they are qualififed to WRITE Scripture.
Specific verse please? If you are going to split hairs then let's get them split really close shall we? :D

Just exactly WHAT is the Biblical qualification for a Scribe of God? Not MAN'S interpretation of a given passage. But what does God SAY?

    In HIS service;
    Jim

The originals were perfect and the writers were authenticated by God.

    1) All of them provide examples of repentance. The KJV translators held false doctrines and participated in actions (including persecution) that we have no record of them repenting of.

Further, it is incredible that you would even dare compare 17th century Anglicans to Moses, David, and Paul.

    2) All three of these men met God given qualifications for writing scripture. All three were spoken to by God. None- NOT ONE- of the KJV translators qualified as an inspired writer of scripture... not a single prophet or Apostle among them.
No. It isn't. Please use the scriptural requirements for recipients of divine revelation and prove that the KJV translators were qualified if you think otherwise. We should always turn our disagreements back to scripture for resolution shouldn't we?
No it hasn't. It has absolutely affirmed the providence of God. God providentially accomplishes things through fallible human actions.

Providentially men build a church building. That does not mean that their methods or results are perfect. Yet the building may very well perfectly suit the purpose God intended for it.

The KJV translators like the NASB, NKJV, etc. did their work under the providence of God. However they are still human works subject to human frailty and error. None the less, their works perfectly suit the purpose God has in communicating His Word to English speaking people.

The Apostle Peter wrote that the holy men of old spoke as the were moved by the Holy Spirit. He also said that Paul wrote scripture. Nowhere can that be said of any team of translators - whether they be translators for the KJV, ESV, NIV, ect...

"Given" not translated, not transmitted but "GIVEN".

Apostolic authority is validated by witnessing the resurrected Christ.

"Holy men of God"- the prophets. Jesus also affirmed their writings as scripture.

The Apostles had authority equal to the Prophets whose writings were affirmed by Christ Himself.

Jesus authorized the doctrines of the Apostles by promsing that the Holy Spirit would teach them and "bring all things to your remembrance". They had to have been first hand witnesses of his teaching for this to occur.

Paul clearly declares His apostleship. He clearly witnessed the risen Christ. And Peter clearly declares the things he had "written" to directly to these first recipients as scripture. IOW's, the originals.

What we Baptists need is a good dose of Reformed theology...
Until I started to investigate it, I experienced only a shallow understanding of my salvation...

    Bibles?
There are five translations I really like...
New American Standard, Revised Standard Version,
New King James Version, New International Version.
Reformed Study Bible ( which is NKJV )
Each one brings its own flavor to the mix...yet each one is doctrinally accurate. The main thing
is you can read them and understand what you're
reading...consequently, you can begin to understand your faith...really understand...

Gentlemen, snap out of your endless genealogies,
    and get back to basics.
When holy men of God, write under the inspiration of God, who better than God to qualify them?
Remember, these are the Apostles...higher authority doesn't exist in the Church anywhere except for Christ.

One of the reasons that King James set in motion the translation of the KJV was that he did not like and did not agree with the notes from the Geneva Bible. Were these KJV Bibles published after King James' death?

Yes, the editions of the KJV with the Geneva Bible notes were printed after King James' death. One of these editions was printed in 1672.
