Hello Bro. James. You’re on the money. Truth is always timely.
"Daddy, why do "Christians" have pagan idols?"--anon.
”Child, some Christians do, and some Christians don’t”. ituttut.
We are about to enter another "Holy Week" of pagan idolatry.
Could never understand how Friday became gooder than the rest of the week. I wonder if somebody just made that up? Oh well, who cares, just so long as we believe like the Mother church.
I like this one better. It’s gooder than just Friday. Every Day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.
Does it matter?
Most in Christendom don’t think so, but we know from Noah, that the masses are always wrong.
Would it make any difference if Jesus died on Wednesday and was resurrected on Saturday?
To me, and I am sure you, it means whether we believe Jesus as He spoke on earth, as so many here will lay their claim, and understanding the Old Testament festivals with its laws as well. I don’t believe you’ll need your calculator for the count on this one (The right answers).
He said here you have (tongue-in-cheek):23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
So,....Remembering the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ is pagan idolatry? We are about to enter another "Holy Week" of pagan idolatry.
Agreed. But no one I know is worshipping Ashtoreth. Let's get back to my original question.God is Spirit. They that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. The carnal christianity we see today is not "in Truth" but rather "in flesh". That is part of why all "our works" are as filthy rags.

Of course not Bro. Bob, but it is the wrong day, and month. This years Passover begins on April 23, 2005. How could He have arisen almost a month earlier.Originally posted by Dr. Bob:
Is it wrong to observe Palm Sunday, commemorating that day in the life of Jesus?
Or Easter Sunday, commemorating that day of the resurrection?

Easter Eggs are meant to represent "new life" Yet should Christians be making these types of representations in light of Ex 2:20?
