Those areas are full fledged satanic zones of evil and the people wholly given themselves over to it in those lands and so then God has given them over to destruction. I agree time to get away from there, God used the USA to punish them for a time and to restrain them. We, as in our system of government is not able to convert them, nor has God charged the USA with such a task. They are fitted for destruction.

I would submit, out of my own opinion again, that governments, while ordained by God, have acted, at least in my life time, like big, big men, who never do anything solely altruistically but almost always have a hidden motive.

Democrats may not have started those, but they also don't want to get out. they want to increase the US military involvement endlessly. Who started Vietnam war and vastly increased our involvement (Lyndon Johnson D) , and who ended it , (Richard Nixon R).

Afghanistan could not be avoided. Vietnam was a HUGE mistake, and never should have happened.

Afghanistan should not have lasted 20 years. That place is hopeless. We also supplied them against the Russians. Vietnam was a proxy war against Russia and should have been won but the press was against the war.
